They couldn’t be any worse than its other owners. Though I suspect that some brands will be excluded from the sale. i.e. Ferrari, masserati, etc.

I’ll just leave this here
If Hyundai can help bring Alfa and Maserati better reliability, I’m all for it.

I just realized the irony in Jeep currently being owned by a former Axis power.

Ferrari is already a separate company.

Nooooo Hyundai doesn’t need FCA. What the hell would they have to gain from this? Entry into the truck/SUV market as the class loser?

Too bad that mean the biggest car company makes literally crap

Christ.
This place has more leaks than a boat made by FCA.

Hey, at least it’s not VW.

they would get Jeep, and a instant pickup and heavy duty pickup lines. That being said they are the oldest pickups on the market.
Hellcat the Genesis

what about when it was owned by Mercedes?

Admit it, you would love to merge with VW.

I completely forgot about Daimler-Chrysler. Quick, sell Jeep to the Japanese!

Yeah, I think that VW, FCA and Mitsubishi would have made a great team. We’d just name ourselves Axis Motors and our main goal would be to take over the American market.

since taking over Europe didn’t go so well the last time.

This may be a really good thing for them. Sergio is losing his damn mind.

are the Kinja programmers ex FCA engineers by chance? or could also be the other way around.

Ferrari & Maserati need those lesser brands to survive. They wouldn’t make it on their own

I dunno. Three years ago, Hyundai pissed off their investors by dropping $10b on a new HQ campus. Would they stand for something like this? Obviously it makes more financial sense as it could bring more business, but it’s something to consider.

“Rumors.” I wonder what started the rumors. This first time I heard of this was Wobbles the Mind posting on Oppo last month.

Trucks, Jeep, and a whole bunch of cars to sell to people that insist on buying American regardless of where the cars are actually built.

Hyundai’s are nice.

I work at a GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Subaru, and Hyundai dealer. Hyundai is at best ok. Unless you are buying a Genesis or Equus or Azera, but then you spent 34-60k on a Hyundai.... Though if I was in the market I would consider the new Genesis

Italy was an Axis power as well. Jeep getting sold to a Japanese company would complete the trifecta, since they were already owned by Germans previously.
